A Welcome to St Mary’s and St Anne's, Moseley
Since its foundation in 1828 Moseley Church of England School has enjoyed close ties with the worshipping communities of St Mary’s and St Anne’s Churches. Through our shared calling, we support and help the School’s ethos to enable both staff and pupils to know and witness the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ.
The clergy, the Revd Jeremy Dussek, the Revd Rosemary Donovan and the Revd Peter Hansell take an active part in the School’s life in leading worship, assisting in teaching and to building community and pastoral relationships with staff, parents and pupils. Both, the Revd Jeremy Dussek, (Vicar), Dr Bob Meikle (Chair of Governors) and Robert Mackie (Church Representative) take an active role in fostering links between the church and the school by serving on the Board of Governors.
Each week clergy lead Worship in Assemblies and once a month the School comes to St Mary’s for Celebration Worship on a Wednesday at 2:45pm. Please click on to the School Diary to find out what’s happening Celebrations include Harvest, Remembrance, Advent, Christmas, Easter and Father’s Day. The School’s Prayer Group meets each Wednesday and pupils and families are invited to contribute issues or concerns for prayer.

Sundays
1 st Sunday each month at St Mary’s at 10am /
2 nd Sunday each month at St Anne’s at 10.15am
there is an all age act service last 40 minutes with lively songs and teaching focused on Children’s activities.
Other Sundays at St Mary’s at 10am / St Anne’s at 10.15am
there are Children’s Groups during the main Morning Service.
At St Mary’s at 10am with a crèche for 0 – 3 year olds and 4 further groups for children between the ages of 4 – 11.
At St Anne’s during the 10:15am service is a Sunday club for children.
Weekdays
Choir : Is your child musical and enjoy singing ?
St Mary’s has a strong choral tradition with a thriving choir that meets weekly on Tuesdays from 5.15pm and Fridays from 6.45pm. The Choir regularly sings in Cathedrals and has made recent tours to USA to Germany.
After School Service : takes place on Thursdays at 4pm at St Anne’s Church in Park Hill during term time.
Youth Group : meets every Wednesday at 7.30pm at St Mary’s.
We are also welcome children for baptism and confirmation, as well as being here to support and pray for our Community.
